SUMMER JAZZ CAMP

Blues Alley Jazz is delighted to announce both our 25th annual summer jazz camp and our return to in-person learning. For almost six decades Blues Alley has been a jazz pioneer as an educator and a performance presenter here in our Nation’s Capital. What sets our programming apart is a paradigm of excellence and our commitment to pedagogical success. This commitment allows us to claim that Blues Alley continues to graduate students from every major music school and conservatory in America. Our annual summer camp is a gateway toward accessing the education necessary to complement others while learning inside an immersive musical environment. This year we will return to in-person programming, installing pandemic-level safety protocols, and limiting our total attendance to 25 students between the ages of 11-18 years old. We will be returning to our waterfront home in St. Augustine’s Church at 555 Water Street in southwest: https://www.staugustinesdc.org/. Please subscribe to our regular e-Jazzletters to learn more about our ever-evolving program offerings.
